Our Donegal nep yarns are high twist with non-dyeable Donegal neps, these resist the dye remaining prominent in the yarns. This particular yarn has a warm undertone due to the neps being blended into the yarn, it takes the dye really well and knits up into a lovely soft fabric with a lovely drape. We used a 2.75mm needle for a flat swatch, but if you wanted to knit these as socks a 2.25mm needle would make a stronger fabric.
