All of our luxury yarn and fibres are hand dyed using Gaywool Dyes. They are available in the UK from The Threshing Barn
High quality acid dyes for wool, mohair, alpaca, angora, silk, fur, feathers and nylon.
This dye range offers 36 beautiful colours which are chemically based & complete. Colourfast, safe & easy to use with high dyebath exhaustion. Suitable for the experienced dyer or first time dyer who is after a user friendly product with a wide and diverse range of applications.
All dyes are fully compatible thus a creative person can dilute, strengthen or mix new shades and blends as desired.
BUSH BLENDS DYES
High quality acid dyes for wool, mohair, alpaca, angora, silk, fur, feathers and nylon.
Bush blends consist of 26 beautiful pastel shades which can be used on all protein fibres. Economical & compatible with Gaywool Originals they are suitable for the experienced fibre artist or the first time dyer.
Dyes can be used in immersion dyeing, rainbow, microwave, and oven dyeing. They can also be applied using steam setting and direct application techniques.
This range of dyes are very user friendly, dye uptake is very quick and the dyebath has very little residue after exhasustion has completed. They are chemically based & complete, colourfast & safe to use. Dyeing time varies, between 15 & 30 minutes depending on the strength of shade.
